About Us
The Kultur & Art Initiative e.V., founded in 2002, is an intercultural and intergenerational non-profit organization. It brings together members of diverse nationalities and age groups, each with different professional backgrounds. Many of them have years of expertise in youth work, refugee support, migration, non-formal education, and media production.
Our Projects
GYOP
International Youth Exchange: Get Your Own Picture unites young people from Europe to run film workshops and produce films as end products.
ISFF Detmold
Since 21 years, we have celebrated our International Short Film Festival in Detmold. Every year, we screen more than 300 short films.
Beats to think
Do you want to create your own song? During the inclusive and integrative workshop, young people and young adults learn together how to create and record their own song.
