PROJECT CONTENT

The general objective is to foster networking
between European non-profit organizations,
educators, and operators to develop strategies
and actions aimed at promoting the integration
of foreign adults through art and culture.

OBJECTIVES

  • increase the skills and tools available to educators and social workers;
  • create a framework of guidelines and common tools between associations and non-profit organizations.

The project includes:

  • two events dedicated to the staff of the associations involved to coordinate the management of the project and share best
    practices and actionable strategies;
  • a training workshop for educators and non-profit staff aimed at acquiring skills and identifying strategies for art and culture at the service of integration;

  • the creation of a website with surveys of foreigners and works of art created by foreign and migrant adults.

Main result: 

increase of tools and methods in favor of non-profit organizations, operators,
and educators for the realization of programs dedicated to the integration of migrants and foreign adults through art and culture.

Further results: the creation of a guideline document available to non-profit organizations, creation of a project website for positive storytelling in terms of culture and social inclusion of adult foreigners.

PARTICIPANTS

We will select 5 participants social workers, educators, and leaders who work in the field of non-profit organizations or centers of foreign integration.

  • During the selection process we will give attention to ensure the gender balance.
