Laboratory for Developing Youth Exchange
New innovative curricula/educational methods/development of training courses
Youth (Participation, Youth Work, Youth Policy)

Summary
Objectives
The main activity of this project is the contact making event (CME) for 35 youth workers to develop future Youth Exchange (YE) projects together with a focus on including young people of their local communities who typically are left out of such projects.
Participants of the CME will be active youth leaders from partner organizations. As all of them have some connection with outdoors – it may eventually serve as common theme or approach. Neverteless participants may offer other themes too.
Before the CME all participants will prepare their home work by presenting and discussing their future project ideas within the Facebook group. During the CME they will bring these ideas together and jointly elaborate concrete 6-7 YE draft projects. And after the CME as a follow up activity participants will finalise, submit and implement their YE projects reaching at least young people in their local communities, including some youngsters who haven’t been reached before by other projects.
Activities
The project consists of one activity – a contact making event “Laboratory for Developing Youth Exchange”. It will take place in JANUARY 2022 in KALEİÇİ Antalya, Turkey. Apart from this main meeting, during the preparation and the follow-up, “virtual mobilities” will occur for the different purposes of the project.
The countries involved: Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark,Greece, Estonia, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Portugal,Romania, Turkey
35 participants – 4 participants from Latvia and Turkey, 3 participants per from other partner organizations.
Impact
By implementing this project we want to “give” youth exchange projects back to YOUNG PEOPLE – instead of professionals writing the projects, with this project we want to empower young leaders to be the creators of future youth exchanges in our organizations.
Main results:
1.) At least 6-7 developed YE ideas
2.) Developed personal and professional competences and motivation of 35 participants to get involved in YEs as group leaders/coordinators and thus promote active participation, inclusion and learning opportunities of youth young people
3.) Additionally during the CME the trainers will share with the participants wide range of materials (about E+, YE, some manuals on methods, check-lists, examples of agreements, etc.) that will be collected in one information folder that participants will be able to use for developing future YEs and also encouraged to share with their organizations.
