Different cultures and ideas are considered to be new perspectives and models of explanation for life and reality
The festival wants to offer a cultural exchange to the benefit of those who participate in it. Art and culture mainly function as a joyful way of using our time.
Everyone has the right to participate in cultural life!
For this reason, the 17th ISFF Detmold has the motto: “Short Films for Everyone” and offers the possibility of barrier-free film viewing and listening. Selected film blocks will be provided with audio descriptions for the blind and visually impaired, and subtitles for the hearing impaired, thus offering the possibility of inclusive participation.
